minihorse Actually my Mom made those many years ago. When she visited us one summer we made a rose quilt for my SIL and she made those as pillow covers but we didn't use them. She was very "quilty".

    HOOF TRIMMING

I get mine done every 8 weeks. Sometimes more if the farrier is busy or weather is bad, but never more than 10 weeks. I call him, he doesn't come unless. Maybe your farrier is on a schedule with rounds and having a different day upsets his route.

What's your best weight loss advice?

I've uses Thyrol L on a few of mine that needed to lose weight. Under vet advice and not long term. It may make them hungrier tho. When stopping you have to ease them off it, not stop suddenly.

    Billy

I would start with an Epsom salt soak. Try both feet if you can. Then if you have a good farrier, give him or your vet a call for advice. If it is an abscess, when they "blow" it is immediate relief .

I agree. I also miss the "old" members that posted when I was "new". This used to be my only social media group and it was very active. I think the availability of other social media and information online has put a crimp on forums.

Is it possible to get all the loose hair off your shedding mini?

I doubt it! I usually give up and clip as soon as it's warm enough. I do have one that sheds like a big horse and she is done about the time the others get clipped.

    Mini hoof changes

It's my understanding that horses show body "trauma " in their feet. The tooth issues, diet changes, meds and stress all go to the feet. It takes about a year for a completely new hoof to grow out. If you look up near her coronary band they it look healthy. Keep the coronary band healthy &...

    Stall Cameras?

I don't know what kind it is. We had a local security company install it. This is our 2nd camera upgrade in 10 years. It has a DVR to record also and we use a flat screen TV to hook into. The cameras are very sharp and cover a wide angle. They ran a cable to the barn (hooked to the existing...

    Stall Cameras?

You need a monitor or TV to hook into. Save a headache and have a professional security team come out & do it for you. We can see most of our property with cameras. It's peace of mind, and I love to watch the horses anytime I want.

    Frog and Dog

Decoupage fabric over plastic figure. I Love the frog, not wild about the dog. I should have painted the dog white 1st. The black base skewed the color of the fabric.
