how much of this hay did you get? i personally would be calling the person i got it from and returning it... i micht be over reacting BUT any weeds in my hay means i dont feed it, and my hay guy has to come pick it up and give me a refund or replacement.. not worth the risk IMHO

i am also one of those people that like to let the babies and moms alone. i usually assist in the birth, help dry the foal off, make sure momma passes everything, take pics(duh who doesnt LOL) then i stand back and wait for the foal to nurse and poop. my fav thing to watch is the momma bonding...

lol the potatoes we picked ( in a 6 acre field) all got picked by hand. this farmer, gives a field of Spuds to the community every year. the tractor tilled em to the surface for us and we picked them. we probally picked 200+lbs of potatoes, enough to get us through the winter
