    Fighting or playing?

If they stand around close to each other, and eat close to each other, they are playing. Boys do love to play rough. 😊

    New mini loves to rear

No, rearing every time you ask him to do something would not be considered normal to me. Is he an especially frisky youngster? Is he fearful? Is he being aggressive? Is he uncomfortable is some way? Since you said he seems to stop when you don't give into the rear, I would guess he's a...

    Interesting article about longeing

I used to use a round pen when I was training my own riding horses. I did round pen DJ (Jaci's sire) some as he wouldn't let me touch him when I first got him and showed no signs of coming around even after months of living here. But I use it for training, not exercising. I never cared for...

    Color matters

    Crafting in 2022

Thank you, LostandFound and Marsha! I used two different cement paper mache clay recipes from Jonni Good over at Ultimate Paper Mache. They are experimental because we don't know if they will hold up outdoors. I bought a "scroll saw" for foam to make these. I don't know if I could have done...

    Downsizing

Keeping Breezy and Nova. I wish everyone wasn't talking like you are the only one on the planet capable of properly caring for Thunder. I would keep Stormy and Breezy. Stormy for when I want to relax and enjoy,or just not feeling like dealing with green. And Breezy for the chance of having...

    New Puppy

Since the harness and tying isn't where she's at right now, and the crate isn't a negative, why not have her in a crate where she can see the horses and what you are doing, but cannot get into danger? May not work, as she might bark and carry on, but may be worth a try.

Pulse visible in mini mare's neck.

Could this possibly be her trachea? I don't know how asthma effects the trachea, but it does run along that area.
