Is there a driving club where you are or anywhere she could get some lessons? Is she wanting to purchase Midnight's harness too? She should get some help to get started. Maybe ask her to research that first, if that would make you feel better?

Marsha, Follow your intuition. I wondered if they planned to drive her. They would definitetly need training to do right for Midnight.

Did you get a chance to see the mother handling Midnight? If the mother is going to take the lead and teach Midnight how to behave around children and teach the daughter horsemanship that would be best.
