I've been looking at the horsemans pride tack trunk at state line tack. Yes it's $175 but its lockable simi waterproof, and has wheels.

I will soon be in the market for a new tack trunk big enough for a collar and hame team harness. Of coarse price is important but most bang for the buck is more important. Any sugestions on product and place to get it please. Thanks

Well I still haven't got this thing done yet. It only needs another coat of paint and some work on the brake rod. But I've run into some problems with my leg so work on it has slowed down to a crawl. I'm still optimistic that it'll be done very soon. We'll see.

I'm not very good at this kind of stuff but at least I try hard and own my mistakes. And so far think I'll only have about $300 in it when I get done.

I was just looking back at this post and thought i would update it. im about 1/2 done with the new wagon, but now that the weather is cooler and dryer, and other projects are done I hope to be finished in the next week or so. I'll try to post pics as soon as I get it done.

At that age and by itself I also would not tie. It would be better in my opinion if you had a trailer mete for the young one to have some company and some one to balance aginst.

I agree, go with whats working for you. If your going to show in the AMHA then cross that bridge when you get to it. till then be comfortable.

I'm planning on starting on my new wagon this weekend. I'll be the style of a pioneer pony wagon. With my carpentry skills and work it could take any were from 2 days to 2 months, ( hopefully less than 2 weeks ). I'll try to get pics on here when I get done.

I've been around minis since I was very young. I remember showing aginced Boones Buckaroo and what a horse. Everyone new as soon as he got out of the trailer that he was going to take grand champion.

My father in law did the running gear for me 'cause I don't weld but I built the box. If I can do it your husband can.

This was taken 4 or5 years ago. The donkey on the off side has since passed away. Im training a new one now and Im gona rebuild the wagon. When I get new pics Ill post them but itll be a while

Looks to me that the carriage will role very easy so I'd say that they could pull all the weight you could put in it

I would put a roof and at least close in the front for sure to help keep the hay from flying of the hay net. and tie him also to help stable stabilize him for the ride.
