It is definitely hard to get good saddles for the minis. The #8 saddles tend to fit a little better, but then the saddle is too small for most kids. The #10's tend to cover their entire backs...But that's the nature of the beast. Finding a saddle with a tree that fits is the hardest part unless...

I use a mix of alphalpha-timothy pellets mixed with a low starch pellets for minis. They love it, and keeps the calories down.

I get my boots from Mindy at Chimacum (Chimacum Tack: Harness and Equipment from Mini-Draft) also! both my boys use the Equine Fusion Active Jogging Shoe. One uses the smallest size, the other one is one size larger. As Mindy shows in her videos...I do use toddler socks on one of the horses so...
