    Poo Poo Crazy

Here's my experiences... I HAVE actually driven a dorsal hitch, in fact 2. I've driven it single, pair and unicorn. It isn't easy or very safe, especially with green animals/humans. Can it be done? Yes! But I highly recommend getting a trainer for doing it. If you were going to do a pair on a...

    Towing Capacity

It depends a lot on the mini. I know some bigger minis that are slugs and just don't want to work or just can't work. The biggest thing is when training is to make things as fun and interesting as you can. Don't wear them out when starting them. Build their endurance gradually. My driving...

    Poo Poo Crazy

Randem with three, tandem with two. 😁.

    Poo Poo Crazy

You can do a tandem (a wheel horse and a lead horse) in a cart. Three inline is a randem. Tandem is very fun and challenging. Can be dangerous. I drove a tandem through the driven obstacle class at our AMHA show this spring, was crazy and fun at the same time. I've taken the boys out tandem...

    Driving and senior ponies

Thank you! This little guy earned his HOF in pleasure driving and roadster many years ago. He came with some interesting baggage which my daughter has been able to unpack and reverse. He has definitely decided that she is his human and will work his little heart out for her, no questions asked.

    Driving and senior ponies

My daughter was competing with her horse that was 23! And they had fastest times through the hazards! My Boardjoring horse is 19 this year. He easily does 5 miles. Just like people, some keep on going and going. My horses all get the same diet, the hard working ones get more. Ive not...

    Stop Showing

I only show for fun. I read the rules for the classes I'm entering and try to follow them. Then I have fun.

    Show Season 2022

When I get more time. I'm working extra hard to save up to go to the World Show again this year. But perhaps I can do some while I'm working with the boys😁

    Show Season 2022

Thank you everyone for the kind words. The boys and I have worked so hard to get where we are at. I couldn't do it without those wonderful little guys!

    Show Season 2022

Here's their second class on the first day. I couldn't be prouder of them, especially the lead horse, he tries so hard.

    Show Season 2022

No, it was four separate shows, 2 AMHR and 2 AMHA. I showed in 2 obstacle classes at each A show. They also had all the driving classes, halter classes and carriage classes.

    Show Season 2022

We had an extremely fun time at Arizona's KOS and TOC shows last weekend! Since I was by myself, I could only take one cart. So the boys and I did driven obstacle tandem! It was a first for us. The first class was our version of keystone cops😂 the steward almost fell out of her chair...

    Heart Horse

I love all my guys. However, in my life I've had two one in a lifetime horses. They're all special, but the heart horse connection goes so much deeper. I just lost this grand fellow in February, 31 years after my husband bought him for me. The grief, for me anyways, is different than with my...

    Show Season 2022

Hoping to hit the two local A shows and do driven obstacle with the pair at both of them. Maybe a few parades. Hopefully some ADTs.

    Blade-joring in slow motion

Yes, the longboard is great for balance and core strength, especially when going down the trails.

    Blade-joring in slow motion

I looked at those! I believe that they would be good, better that roller skates. I've tried three different roller skates and because of using the boards, I end up on my rump! Seems I've become accustomed to shifting my weight rearward, which causes the skates to go forward😆 These look like...

    Winter fly mask?

I have a couple like that. I use Masks For Minis masks. They are made to fit the horse and can be adjusted for a looser fit and still be comfortable for the horses. You can also trim the bridle path just wide enough for the poll strap and shave some of the jaw hair back to help with fit.

    Getting a Selfie

At the ADT this weekend, this sweet boy would not let me take a nap, but did want a selfie!
