Wetting hay will def help , so will keeping him off dry lots and away from dusty areas. As Laurie mentioned above be wary of laminitis with the oral steroids, not only the steriods but the increased turnout on grass. Maybe something similar to Founder guard (as we have here) would also help...

Hey Chunkii , welcome to the forum :) Where abouts in Oz are u from ? Your little mare is looking good, though the foal is still riding sideways , so you have a bit of time yet. As mentioned as her udder continues to grow , the center line will gradually disappear.

Willow flats we are experiencing the complete opposite. It started to warm up for a few days, now its freezing and raining again :( Julie, My veggie Gardens are currently under construction ( preparing them for planting in the next month or so) :)

Might be time to get the vet out to see if she is still carrying ? Im not sure of the costs there , but they can take some blood to determine if she is is pregnant. Ill be really honest ( and im not trying to dampen your spirit) but to me she doesn't look pregnant. I do hope she is for you...

That's a pregnant belly if ever I've seen one :) Not sure how long but I don't think you will be waiting as long as you did with snickers. Even though its hard to get too close to her , try and get a sneaky look at her udder when you can as you may notice the start of some development :)
