    Miniature mare that is pregnant

Mares don't generally come into heat if they are pregnant. One of my big mares will "Show off" to her gelding friend next door , but she doesn't come into heat. Do you have an idea of when she was bred ?

    Miniature mare that is pregnant

Welcome to the forum :) I agree with the information Taz has given you. When your taking photos next can you take one standing well back , looking at her rear. This will give us an indication of how the foal is currently positioned. As mares get closer to foaling , there's much less room...

    Possibly pregnant help please

Are they on pasture or on dry lots ? Regarding "heat" every mare is different, good thing is you have a date of when your mares were exposed to the stallion.

    What blankets do you like?

I would recommend the Saxon too. They have a "No fill" one that acts a rain sheet , great protection from the wind also.

    How's the Weather ?

We have had some terrible weather over the last fortnight. We had storms come thru, that Ive never witnessed anything like before. I was lucky where I am but many people are still without power and this was nearly two weeks ago. Its done nothing but rain over the last few days and we are...

I hate being that person... But.... What do you think

When you get a chance can you get some photos , standing directly behind them and down at their level, say 5m back from them. It will give us an indication on how the foal is currently riding (positioned)

Could I get some opinions please

Ive also never heard of one going this long either. If this was me , Id be at the stage of "Wanting to know" ( hellooooo sleeeep) Taz, Ive witnessed many threads on preg mares over the years. Theres been a couple I've wanted to throw my keyboard thru the computer screen. Owners of pregnant...

    Pregnant mare bagging up

She looks great , though I would be watching her like a hawke. If you look at the picture you posted , looking at her from behind, you can see the foal is not lined up ready for delivery. Once you can no longer see the foal "Riding wide" ( sides sticking out), the foal has moved into position...
