Keep taking that picture from behind , it gives us a great indication on how the foal is currently positioned . As her udder continues to fill her nipples will fill and point down. 😊

Your vet is right , there are a few plants that can produce milk . If you have clover in your pasture , this will be what’s causing it.

When you have a chance can you take a photo standing directly behind her? say 5+ meters back. It will give us an indication on how the foal is is currently positioned.

I would also say to get a vet check done and some xrays to rule out any rotation. On a low sugar diet I am sure he will do fine. I have a couple who have foundered and wear muzzles at the start of spring and autumn.
