Ways to balance an easy entry cart??

The best option I can think of is getting shorter shaft supports where the shafts bolt to the frame...that was I can rotate the shafts down lower and hopefully it will balance better and the seat will be level. Any thoughts on that?

Ways to balance an easy entry cart??

I don't think so. I'll have to go check tomorrow

    We did our first parade!!

Yes, they were SO good! I actually video'd a few clips with my phone on the route so I could have thrown candy quite easily! I will see if we can for the next one.

    The Pony Palace is done!

It's a very large sand/crushed granite...it compacts well and wears their hooves beautifully. I can try to get the actual name of the stuff from hubby. :-)

    We did our first parade!!

I was so lucky that this cart came with my minis! It's originally from Driving Essentials though..it's their Glinkowski mini cart. I absolutely love it. I also have the harnesses/pole to drive three in unicorn formation but I have not done that!

    We did our first parade!!

No, we couldn't throw candy. This parade was very, very small compared to other years but like you said, it's good that things like this are actually happening again! This week's parade should be fairly large. I'm just super pleased my littles handled everything beautifully.

    The Pony Palace is done!

Thank you! It's been a long time coming. Last year when we had that horrid 10" of rain in two days I felt so bad for the little guys. We managed to get them all under cover but two were housed in our horse trailer during the storm...it was horrible. We just aren't used to that kind of...

    The Pony Palace is done!

Hubby has been wanting to build me a barn/shelter forever....it finally happened! We're in CA and weather is super mild so didn't need a full enclosure....here is the finished pony palace, aka, mini mansion! I love it and feel so spoiled!!!

    We did our first parade!!

They are ages 12 and 16 and have been driving for years. This was the first parade for the larger paint and he was a little antsy but as long as I kept him moving he did great. The little one is all business when it comes to driving...he's difficult to live with but is a joy to drive!

Ways to balance an easy entry cart??

Hi all~. I have two easy entry carts. One is balanced perfectly for my little guys. The other is balance more for a shetland sized pony or very large mini. The seat cannot be moved back to balance. Are there any other ways to get the cart to balance for a smaller mini? I would love any and...

    High Glucose Levels

He can graze just a tiny bit...just what he can reach from inside his drylot paddock. The past two mornings he was super lame ...no heat in his hooves and no noticeable digital pulse. By the end of the day he seems a bit better. I'm beginning to wonder if it's arthritis rather than laminitis...

How much space do minis REALLY need?/Am I crazy for even considering it?

DO it.....you won't regret it if you get a nicely mannered mini or two and it's okay w/ neighbors. Our minis are relatively lazy ...even on turnout ...I need to make them work for exercise. Driving is fantastic fun and can be done in most neighborhoods with a well trained mini or two!

    High Glucose Levels

mine too. Oddly and hopefully it's just a coincidence but the day after I started him on the Zero (just a half cup) he turned up lame. Honestly it's a day by day thing with this guy....one day he's prancing around like a foal...then BAM...lame

    High Glucose Levels

I found something that he likes! It's kind of expensive but he will eat it out of my hand so you know it's a winner! It's Australian...made by Hygain...called Hygain Zero - specifically for cushings/metabolic types. No soy and very low starch. yippee!

    High Glucose Levels

Sorry, I just saw this! I tried triple crown senior and he went off feed completely. He is quite picky so I think it's just a matter of finding a balancer that he will eat. A local feed dealer suggested Hygain Zero...I might pick up a bag of that today to try. I also found some herbal...

I'm so excited! Lesson w/ Diane Kastama!

I just had a lesson with world champion combined/international Para champion Diane Kastama! Lovely lady and really knows her stuff! She helped me with harness fit (I need to make some changes) and gave me lots of pointers on driving my littles! Amazing to have such a wonderful resource here...
