    Drive Me Buggy 2020 Hours

I’m finally on the board this year with 25 ground driving minutes for Eve! I’ll post more info about her on the ‘Your Drive Day’ post to trim this thread down a bit. I tend to post novels and I’m determined to keep this one about the minutes!

Christmas pictures of horses, barns and parades

Thanks! It’s actually one of those sets that you can Velcro onto the halter. It was a little big for Coady’s small halter (the set is for a full sized horse) but it worked out nicely. On a side note, DD looks a lot like the mini gelding at the barn where my riding horse is boarded. He’s a bit...

Anyone go hiking with their minis?

I’m going to start hiking with my little guy Coady this year. We usually go for casual strolls in the little park just down from the house, but this year I want to take hiking with him more seriously. Not to mention he and I both need to lose some weight ;) good luck finding some people in your...

    Driving Me Buggy 2019 Hours!!!

Happy New Year everyone! Hopefully 2020 brings plenty of great driving for all of us! I forgot to write that Coady and I had 10 minutes of ground driving on Christmas Eve, 10 minutes of ground driving on the 26th and 40 minutes of driving on the 26th. Apologies for the late update!

Christmas pictures of horses, barns and parades

I’m loving all the Christmas photos! Here’s my sweet Coady in his festive getup. I’m going to try to get the hat on Rosie...but I highly doubt that will go well. Her royal highness will likely not approve of such behavior lol!

    Your Drive Day

Cows are definitely horse eating monsters disguised as herbivores. I was out on a trail ride (trying to battle my fear of my horse bolting in an open field...) when my TWH Outlaw decided that the field of cows meant his death...even though he had lived with one for the first two years of his...

    Driving Me Buggy 2019 Hours!!!

Coady had 40 minutes of ground driving on Saturday. He was an over caffeinated coiled spring again. He was a spooky little guy, shying at things that he normally wouldn’t. I was going to try again Sunday but decided to just take him for a nice walk after some desensitizing work.

I've just published a miniature horse themed novel

Your novel sounds very interesting! Though I’m just a bit over the target age group, I think that 27 year old me will enjoy it. I’ll be sure to check it out!

    Driving Me Buggy 2019 Hours!!!

I forgot to record 20 very cold and snowy ground driving minutes on Tuesday for Coady. Let’s just say ‘fresh’ was an understatement....it was like driving an over caffeinated coiled spring. Marsha, Coady did not like having his boots put on at first, but he’s a good boy for them now. Hopefully...

Is there something missing from this cart?

I would definitely run away from that cart. $300 is way too much for something that will need as much work as that will. I agree with Minimor...from what I can see, that frame, basket and seat are from a larger cart and they stuck those strange little wheels on it and cut the shafts to make it...

    Learning about harness

To those reading this thread and my thread ‘Long Road Ahead’ in which I wrote a response to Patty’s Pony Place: It is always wise to review different viewpoints on a topic and ***** the matter for yourself. No matter what the brand is or who is supporting it, weigh all information on the scale...

    Learning about harness

PPP, A respectable business person would not use their competition as a stepping stool to get to the top. This entire post is nothing more than a ‘stepping stool’ disguised as helpful advice. If your information and products are so superior, then you should be able to offer advice and sell...

    Long Road Ahead

Party’s Pony Place, I am in awe that a business owner would address possible future clientele in such a condescending and arrogant manner. You’ve posted comments that were indirect insults before, but this is quite something. I must say, I am impressed that you were able to insult the person...

    Long Road Ahead

:p:p:pI have the whole week off work this week (Yay!!! It’s been a looooong time since I’ve had a vacation) and I’ve been working with Coady on his driving. I forgot to record all of our ground driving and travois minutes though. Oh well, no biggie! Anyway, yesterday was a beautiful day so I...

    Driving Me Buggy 2019 Hours!!!

20 minutes of ground driving for Coady...aaaand...40 minutes of driving!!!!!! I’m so proud of my little man. I’ll write a longer, more detailed post on my thread ‘Long Road Ahead’. (In which I explain our accident and why I’m SO thrilled to have him pulling a cart again) :D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Anyone seen this video of the Boomer Schooner?

Eeeekkk...even though that’s not exactly what happened to me, seeing the ponies cantering off pulling the upside down wagon base behind them brings back bad memories for me. Hopefully the two ladies nor the two ponies/minis (they looked a little big to be minis so I’m not sure) were not injured.

    Long Road Ahead

Thank you Marsha. I agree, and no matter what I’m probably going to keep an eye out for another driving horse, or possibly a driving donkey! I’m don’t have as much donkey experience as horse experience, but I’ve always wanted to drive a mini donkey. The live Nativity options would just be a...

    Name the Driving Group

I always thought of it as Mini Minutes Driving Club in my head ;) I’ll see if I can think of anything else

    Long Road Ahead

Hi all, I just wanted to give you all an update on what is happening with Coady and I. I hadn’t been able to drive him for awhile due to time constraints, weather (my asthma and I don’t like the heat and humidity...) and injuries from accidents (bucked off of a horse that I was riding for a...

    Possible knee issue?

I’m in agreement with the suggestion of more pictures and videos. Out of curiosity, is this little guy in Bellefonte? There’s a red dun colt for sale there and if so (or if he’s in the general area of State College) call Centre Equine. They should be able to get someone out there to do a...
