    Preggers or Fat????

These Bristlenose Plecos are great algae eaters. I LOVE gold fish! We have some koi in an outdoor pond. Hubby is building a deck around the above ground pond, so we can see them. Here's our biggest tank. It's a 120 g.

Well, we have four aquariums and friends who want some. I would love to see your 100 g!

    Preggers or Fat????

Yes, I think her udder grew overnight. Here's a picture of the daddy. These guys are great algae eaters.

This is this morning! And just for fun, I threw in a pic of my Bristlenose Plecos that hatched this morning.

    Preggers or Fat????

So THIS is happening! I even got a bit of liquid out of her. Does anyone know if the ph strips work on donkeys?

    colours and changes

The vet said both Sterling and Sally are silver dapples. He is really lightening up. Sally was a complete surprise. When we first got her, she was a shaggy multi-colored little thing. The rescue thought she would shed out to palomino :) Your little guy is absolutely adorable!!!

    colours and changes

So, since Sally and Sterling pretty much look the same, except Sally has some Appy traits, is there any guess on what Daddy was color-wise? I had no idea that mini color genetics was different than horses.

Anyone use Ultrashield Green on a baby?

You used this on a mini foal? Which brand? The green stuff worked a bit, but of course, there were still flies around his eyes.

Anyone use Ultrashield Green on a baby?

I just went out to spray. Sterling was excellent! He didn't mind the spraying or the rubbing on his face (kept trying to bite the cloth :) ). I just love this little nut. Sally hated every part of it. :) Poor Sterling is a mess with shedding his foal coat and rubbing.

Anyone use Ultrashield Green on a baby?

The flies here are worse in the shade. They have a choice to be in the shade or out in their yard. :(

Anyone use Ultrashield Green on a baby?

Poor Sterling is rubbing parts of his face raw from being itchy from flies. We have a Mr. Stinky up, use fly predators, and remove poop, but the few flies we have love Sally's and Sterling's face. Sally has a fly mask which Sterling regularly pulls off. She has Appy eyes, poor thing. I am...

    Preggers or Fat????

The vet did a blood test. It came back positive, but the vet said the timing was wrong. Apparently, the test can tell how far along they are. He also said it's very unreliable in donkeys. His final opinion was "not pregnant." He said to only feed her Bermuda, which we have been doing except for...

    My Mare is Possibly Pregnant.

Sally did that a lot, along with a lot of back-end scratching.

6 days after foaling, still uncomfortable at times

Perhaps her milk bar is making her uncomfortable? Any new pictures of Finn?

    Fencing Issues

Wow! I'm so sorry you are having neighbor like that. My neighbor put up iron pipe with no climb on our boundary; then we both put up a hot wire about three feet away from the fence. He has a stallion, and this arrangement works quite well. But in your situation, it sounds like your neighbor...

6 days after foaling, still uncomfortable at times

Are you sure that she passed the entire placenta? That would be the only thing I would worry about.
