Hi, The ground in the mini paddock gets very muddy when it rains. For drainage would a mixture of dirt and sand work for footing? How about 2-3 inches deep? Thanks, Tess

Hi, I have read books on taking care of them. Also, I took horse riding lessons, where I learned how to groom a horse and wash them as well as ride. I know how to put a halter on, walk and groom/wash but that's it. I have never owned a horse before. Thanks for all the wonderful advice, Tess
