    Sad day for us

Thanks everyone. We appreciate all the kind words. It is giving us an opportunity to realize how quickly things can change and how we need to really soak in all the time we have with each other and our animals as well. ❤

    Sad day for us

She didn't know why. She said the only way to look into it was bloodwork. He had a mild colic episode last weekend and she said it's possible it was related. She said it's also possible it was just his time and his body was just shutting down. 😔

    Sad day for us

Our wonderful horse, Mooney (Stormy Rivers Show Me The Money), took his trip across the rainbow bridge today. He was an amazing boy and we miss him terribly. His paddock was right outside our back door, so it's hard going out there now because he isn't there saying hi when the door opens. We've...

    Bath and clipping day!

Update on our show!! We had so much fun with our pasture puffs. My kids are talking about when we get to go to our next show 😍😍 I won't say how many were in the classes 😜 My 8 yr old (7 for show age) showed Bella (the brown horse) in youth halter mares and got 5th under both judges. He wasn't...

    Bath and clipping day!

Thank you! I hope they get addicted to it 😍 ! They are 5, 8, and 9. I don't think there will be tons of kids there to compete against, so it will be a good way to get their feet wet.

    Bath and clipping day!

It is fascinating!! I love it. It's like opening a new present every year. Thank you 😊 I hope we have a good time too. We are camping and showing at the same time. We are pretty excited. I hope they enjoy it enough to want to do more showing.

    Bath and clipping day!

I got 2 of our minis bathed and clipped today. They look so nice 😍 😍 My kiddos are taking them to their first show in a few weeks. So excited!! Every year the one mini gets more and more white. She is about 16 yrs old now and changes so much every year. It's fun to watch! When I bought her...

    Show Sheen spray

Oooh, now that's an idea! I'm sure the companies would want models that stand still and like their products, lol. Thank you :)

    Show Sheen spray

Love it! She is very much a teenager, lol. My other 3 hate sprays. They think it's trying to kill them...especially my 16yr old mare. She's a bit of a diva/drama queen though.

    Show Sheen spray

My little 2yr old filly, Cricket, is a nut. I've had her for a year now and have never actually sprayed her with fly spray or any other spray type stuff. Well, last night I did. She LOVED the show sheen spray, lol. She leaned into it and was begging for more. Goofball!!

    Feeding/Diet Regimen & Hay types

It didn't make sense to me either since it is marketed for minis too, but I have had 2 different reps on the phone tell me this. Was something about because of the weight of my minis they were not getting the full nutritional values listed per serving based on what I would have needed to feed...

Activities to do with Mini Horse

Horse agility!! They even have online competitions.

    Feeding/Diet Regimen & Hay types

So, with the feed, triple crown has told me that the lite is not complete for smaller minis and to add their ration balancer. I decided (with the help of the TC rep) to feed mine their senior feed (even my yearling). It's very low sugars and nutritionally complete. I feed my puffball mini the...

Aha finally a toy that works

Too funny!! Maybe I'll try this too. Our mid-teens mare loves to take brushes from the grooming box and takes off with them with her head and tail held high, lol.

    Anyone feed CA Trace?

I've heard it is one of the best supplements but I haven't tried it.

    Fencing

Yes, it is tedious getting old fencing down and then unrolling and stretching is not fun either. It takes longer than cattle panels. We have seen a lot of those types of fences with a toprail and LOVE them. Very nice looking. I wish wood prices weren't so high. Most of what we have right now are...
