After two days on the meds, I checked on Maggie last night... she seems to be doing better. Keeping my fingers crossed she keeps improving!

Maggie has a odd shaped head, so I had a simple custom leather halter made for her, from Robinson's harness shop.... oh... goodness.. has to be 15 years ago... Is a nice every day halter, has held up very well, no rust at all. Rarely clean it... hasn't really needed it.

Maggie has super, super long and thick mane and forelock. Got annoying when I was driving her so I just roached it. Looked pretty good and easy to care for.

Hate having to go shopping too. People are too grumpy in this area.... you smile at them.. and more often than not, they give you a dirty look. :P When I can, I like shopping on the military bases,,, friendly people there, they have manners and smile a lot. Also what I miss about the Pacific...

This area of VA isn't horse friendly. Lots of loose hunting dogs.... last thing you would want is a pack going after you and your minis.

I have had tons of problems with the hay in this area of the country. The shear amount of long term Chems and weed killers they use on many of the hay fields here is staggering. Other hay, is moldy and full of weeds... Horses have been having issues with it. I would call the guy that brought...

I make sure my goats have a Loose mineral. Think this goes a long way to keep them from eating the horse's manes and tails.

Goats are fine. Its sheep that have the copper issue. ;) Most breeds of sheep but not all.. to make it a little more confusing.
