I run with Chrome, if you go to settings, you can make sure not to allow Pop ups. You can also turn off the videos. For antivirus, depending on the computer... McAfee or Avast.

Making my Craft Room a reality!

That is a nice area of VA to be, so I have been told. Specially if you love crafts/weaving/spinning/Art. Though I was hoping you would be closer to where I live, would be nice to have another crafts person around. ;)

They are a really big sheep, ones I saw were taller than the A & B sized minis around 33 3/4" to 36" tall. Know of a couple of people that bred them up in Canada. Some lines can be dumber than a box of rocks..... (found most of the sheep breeds I have had, are quite smart) But I see no...

Any breed with next to the skin softness is always easier to sell. Blue Faced Leicester.... is always a favorite with handspinners. Border Leicesters Finn.... the softer lines, great for handspinner and or felting Romney Cormo Coopworth ... Just to name a few. But with in each breed...

Making my Craft Room a reality!

We need photos too! So you moved it VA. What area? My Art room is a hodge podge of stuff. Not as organized as I would like. When I did Bead Art, I used plastic fishing boxes for lures, with little chambers, to put the beads in, worked really well. There are tons of ideas here...

    Japanese Castle

Started working on the Japanese Castle based on one of DH's photos he took while in Japan, a number of years ago. The sky has been done in a base color and is not complete. The Japanese castle will be in Pen and Ink and at a later date, will add a slight amount of watercolor pencil wash. This...

    e-readers

Have hundreds of paper back books, I love to read. I won a Kindle Fire last year, one of the smaller ones... I did not use it much at first. Just when I was sitting to get the car's oil change and such like that. Fast forward to a few months ago..... I have been having problems reading, the...

human babies - not among my favorite things

I did not like Babies or kids,,,,until I had my own son. Love him, had no issues caring for him at all. Was always a joy to have around. Other peoples babies or kids... not so much. Unless they are well mannered.

    Menopause

As far as the Doc says... So far, he has been quite knowledgeable..... and I do not trust Doctors. The med he gave me, is working well. If I had Fibroids, it would never stop. Hands are rather tied in this state. A number of bills were passed by the GOP that limits women health care here.

VENT - ?s re: Montana Silversmiths

http://www.anamericanfootprint.com/list.php Good link to some companies that are American made. I do have some Long johns, made of wool, I have had for over 7 years now, that were made in Canada by Canadians. They are holding up well.

VENT - ?s re: Montana Silversmiths

My family has some old Carhartt with tags saying made in the US. DS needs a new one... and all the labels I saw said made in China. They were going to go out of business a few years back. However saying that... not buying from them again. But I also just read this.. ( countries where...

Same problem with Carhartt jackets and such.. they used to be made in the US... now they are made in China only. So I no longer buy from them. Is frustrating.
