I use allbreedpedigree too, but it is true one can't depend on the information. But I think it shos very nice the pedigree of a horse instead of i.e. the AMHA studbook. I have to really look hard to understand the pedigree.

In the earlier ays at least here in europe when the harness was made out of leather you could cut through. But today all my CDE harnesses have several nylon layers and it is just impossible to cut through! So we have these Quick release shackles on all our carts and carriages. My show harness...

You can register any Shetland x AMHR as ASPIR too. With a rule book extension (I don't remember the exact year) you can hardship from ASPIR to AMHR too. (If the resulting foal is within the heights limits.) So perhaps this would be your "way back".
