    Getting Socks White!?!

Chalk works good and stays a little better than baby powder. You chalk UP the leg not down though. And make sure you trot them around and let the chalk fall off. THEN Do their feet. Dont paint the feet then powder.

    Driving Obstacle Class

Thank you hes a ton of fun to drive but very challenging as well. Im hoping that he will sound up and be drivable again. (He got caught in wire and cut his rear leg up very badly.)

    Bitting ideas please

My stallion loves the french links. He has a very small mouth and so the single joint would poke the roof really badly. And he didnt like the no tongue relief of the mullen (though usually they are good for that.)

    Bitting ideas please

Have you tried different bits on him? It could be that he doesn't like the bit. My stallion did that a lot until I found a bit he liked he doesn't do it any more.

    What color is this mare?

Yeah until I color test I wouldnt be positive about her color. Just wanted others thoughts on her color. As I havent actually seen an unclipped smokey black horse in person. And very few even clipped. But thats about the only color I could come up with.

    Driving Obstacle Class

I think it was a combination of factors. Different cart, strange place, green, and hates blinders..... tons of factors came into play for that particular incident. I have seen it happen at many different shows. With horses ponies and miniatures. Normally people do try and take it at an angle...

    What color is this mare?

Thank you. Shes super sweet but scared and obviously skinny. She certainly looks like there are papers out there somewhere for this beautiful little girl. Our plan is to register her Pinto and show her eventually.

    What color is this mare?

This is a new mini to us who needed help. Friends of ours were looking for a mini for their daughter and asked for our help. During our searches for them we found this little mare. (She needed too much love for them to be able to give her) So even though we didnt need another mini we took her...

    Driving Obstacle Class

This is a video in which my stallion had the hoop flip up and get him. He was not mine at the time. I was just warning about the hula hoop. As after that video I have since seen tons of horses ponies and minis have the same or similar issues with it... In one case at a pinto show it actually...

    Just cannot contain myself!

Very welcome. It didnt occur to me either until a barn I was boarding at had a massage/chiro lady in and she of course wanted to see the little mini and she patted her and was like wow this little mare is out everywhere.... She did some stuff and didnt even charge me and the mare was a whole...

    Curly Coat Question

Your very welcome. The curlies being so small is new. The breeders have been working on breeding them down to Small Pony and Miniature heights. Since posting pictures of my two foals who are curly its raised a lot of questions about them and their coat properties. There are even people who...

    Just cannot contain myself!

After reading all this I needed to comment on this part of it. If you can have a chiropractor or massage person come out and look at her. As I had a mare who moved really weird in the back end and twisted oddly. And kinda waddled even when she wasn't fat. Turned out that she was out of alignment...

    Driving Obstacle Class

I dont personally like trying to pivot in the hula hoop... Ive had it flip up and catch on the horses legs and almost tangle a wheel as well. Ive also seen wrecks because the hula hoop did the same thing on others.

    Curly Pinto Filly Born Today.

They tend to be very level headed. They like to think. Though they do think and sometimes makes it harder for training because they do tend to try and out thing you as well.

    Curly Coat Question

From the pictures her ears and mane look smooth/straight. Which means chances are her body will smooth out with time. And probably not have hypoallergenic properties.

    Curly Coat Question

If you could post pictures of her ears that would help identify if shes actually curly or if its the typical curly wavy coat of a miniature foal. If her mane is not already curly shes not a curly. Her ear hair and mane must be curly at birth to be considered curly and to display and have the...

    winter blanket

If you want it water proof don't have it embroidered where the rain will leak in. Embroidery puts holes in the fabric and allows water to seep in.
