Yes ground driving counts for sure. I used to keep track of ground driving and driving separately but now we just count it all as hours with our critters. You guys must be tough stuff to be out in this January weather. Got your times down :)

I had a cart on order for 6 months and had to ask for a refund as it hadn't even been started yet. I can't speak to the value/workmanship as I never received my cart but the transaction and communication had much room for imporovement.

Wooden wheels need someone who knows what they are looking at. Then a wheelwright to repair them and that is expensive and hard to find. I would stick to a simple metal EE with motorcycle wheels for a first vehicle. You'll love the one you ordered. I have the same one and have had it for 10...

Not too mention that setup is on a two wheeler which has it's own set of problems. I'd love to talk to whoever built/drives this and hear about the setup. Maybe it's genius and we just can't see it?

Woohoo!!! 30 min driving Wally! He's such a good boy. I haven't driven him in over a year I don't think. He was amazing. Such a willing and patient little guy who never gets upset even when I confuse the heck out of him.

I think I have a little guy that might be good for you. He's not "seasoned" as far as having tons of miles but he's an easy and non-reactive guy who is super willing and easy going.

Combined Driving event It consists of a marathon obstacle course, driven dressage, and a cones course. My little mare has get up and go and would thrive doing events but is not a beginner horse. She's not dangerous but she's smart and stubborn which can frustrate even seasoned drivers.

I'm finally on the board with 45m ground driving Perry. Wanted to hitch him but my tires were flat and I had a limited amount of time. He hasn't been out for a year and he's amazing. He got his mom's personality for sure.
