    Lost our beloved Ringo yesterday!

Am sorry for your loss but oh you were so blessed to have her as long as you did. A wonderful age for a dog. I wish more could reach it.

    Jazz at the nursing home

Its so nice to give to your community this way. Great that you are able to have pics taken.. we need signed releases for hospital/nursing home photos here.

    just some pics...

I so agree. Without talking about the size difference, without talking about the stallion/mare pairing these babies should be allowed to grow up before so much is expected from them. Growing up is a good thing.

    Great Dane puppy photo contest

Thanks to those voting for our girl, Spice. I really do hope cropping is done away with here in the U.S. it just takes people to make the change. As for not getting a dog because it was cropped personally I think that's a bit much as they would really reduce what would had access to. Alot...

    Great Dane puppy photo contest

I hear ya. Spice was cropped before we added her to our family... but if I would have had my way she would have been left natural. When we have pups we don't crop.

    dog lovers--Parvo questions

I don't mean to be argumentative here but vaccines are not foolproof. Some can and do get ill after having all "recommended" vaccines. As for bleaching a yard I know of folks who have attached a sprayer to their hose to spray their whole big yard. Best of luck with the puppy.

    dog lovers--Parvo questions

Some say Tamiflu can help with the treatment of Parvo. I personally know of 2 dogs who have survived Parvo. One was our foundation Great Dane dog, Roku.. he lived to be 9yrs of age. The other is his grandson, Dyami, who'll be 5yrs old in a couple of days. Best of luck!

Physical changes of a driving horse?

Doing this sort of stretching seems to made Saber more limber for his turning. Maybe its coincidental. It isn't a high feeding just 1-2 inches higher. He's one who'll try to take hay from the top of the snacker instead of its openings. This makes him eat from the bottom openings of the snacker.

Physical changes of a driving horse?

OH! I forgot to add at night Saber gets a busy snacker (that I cut in half and made 2 out of) with hay I've been purposefully hanging it a bit higher in hopes to get him to stretch while eating. Do you think the driving AND this is what is changing his back?

Physical changes of a driving horse?

Straighter as if seen from the side... instead of sort of going "uphill" (after his wither) towards the rear. Here's an older photo of Saber showing what I mean and here's one from yesterday Other than looking flatter with my palm I can feel part of his spine in one area now. I have...
