    HES HERE HES HERE!!!!

Of course, I wondered if that horse came from Renee's place. You have a well bred and well trained horse. Renee is one of the best.....and wonderful to deal with. Congrats and enjoy!

    Training for Liberty

We don't train for liberty either, we just pick the horse who is always running around in the pasture being silly and kicking their heels up AND is super friendly. The one who always comes up to you for treats or some love is the one you'll be able to catch in the ring when the music stops. I...

    The things you learn

Thanks Amanda.......she had a lot of that old ARC breeding in her (ARC Kawana and ARC Learo were great grandparents). Don't remember if you got to watch the Liberty class at MMHC last year, but she and I did Liberty for the first time and she won two blues and a 4th or 5th. She rocked it (beat...

    The things you learn

Thanks Julie, I just saw your thread about your little young one you lost as well. Freakish and terrible.....

    The things you learn

Thanks Charlotte. Nope, no ulcers cuz the vet looked for that. Stomach, etc was fine and he said he could tell that what happened in her colon and intestine happened very quickly and recently.

    The things you learn

Lost a 2.5 year old mare this week to what our vet called cholostrial (sp?) toxemia. Happened very quickly and the mortality rate is almost 100%, so there was nothing we could have done. Just shocking this happened to a happy, healthy mare for no apparent reason. Sunday afternoon, we noticed...

    Market for the small AMHA

OMG Jill........that is a GORGEOUS stallion. Good thing you live half the country away from me, so we don't have to show against him on a routine basis. Stunning Mary (MRZ Farms)

    Dental question

Horses should have their teeth examined once a year for horses older than 5 and twice a year for horses under 5. With horses under 5 years old, their teeth are in constant flux with new teeth coming in and deciduous (or baby) teeth being replaced by their permanent teeth. Horses will replace 24...

Which stallion that you have seen in person,,,

I don't know that these two are overlooked but, first of all, how about Baylee (Century Farms Bey Masquerade), Stacy Score's other prodigious stallion. Gorgeous, and he throw gorgeous as well. The other one I would throw out there, who still looks hotter than hades and throws amazing babies, is...

    **UPDATE** On Faith

What a pretty little filly. I am so glad she has healed up nicely. We had a similar situation this year with an 9 week old filly who came in from the pasture with her front leg completely broken--swinging in the wind--below the knew. She healed great and we will be showing her this year as well...

    MMHC July show

Thanks Adam, we sure try. I hope we are able to have the Shetland show as well, that would be very cool

    MMHC July show

The motion currently on the books is for July 20-22nd in Winona MN. We did vett another location--to try and bring our costs down--at the Minnesota State Fair grounds for the last weekend in July but it doesn't appear to be much less expensive and feedback from potential exhibitors is mixed. Our...

    Rain rot

Clean the area, pull away/out the dead hair and dose with iodine. No blankies or anything covering the area.

    Hilltops Little Vegas

I must say that every time I read about a mini who lived to be 30 years old surrounded by tender, loving care, I smile. I am sorry for your loss but so happy that you gave that creature such a wonderful life. God bless and god speed.
