I bought a very cheap mini ($200) and she was in foal when we bought her to a buckeroo great grandson. I don't care if she looks like dirt (I think her coloring and head is beautiful, there are pictures of her in my gallery, she is a paint), she is the sweetest, most versitle mini out there...

I don't know if I agree with the daylight theory, we can leave our out and put blankets on them everyday, and when we want the hair to grow, we take the blankets off. We just did that with one of ours for our last show.

mine get fuzzy so fast it's unbelievable. Two nights of freezing weather and their coats are at least an inch thick (that's what you get for living in Minnesota) Mine go from sleek to fuzzy and it's hilarious how fast it can happen!

Oh:( I'm sorry. Our old mare went blind and she had a couple foals that led her around for years. He will be happy!! I love the foal pic!!:P

I have been seperating most of the pm, well maybe about 8 hours where they can see each other. There where a coule whinnies from the foal, but momma is completely fine with it:P I agree with Joanne and chandab

Wow what a beautiful stallion!! I have never heard of him but I see what you mean by breath-taking!!! One stallion I think is absolutely breath taking is a mini named Piano Man. His coloring is just so unique!

I have exactly what you have a 4 month old filly with just the mamma and the first foal born at our house. I am trying to wean my baby too. Lol. I am just trying to wean her but I'm heart broken too. Ha ha:)
