It looks awful down there. We have been having fires here in OK, but nothing compared to what they are experiencing. CNN was reporting over 1000 homes burned so far this year. I pray for those families.

I've done it before and honestly it is HARD! Especially if you dont have the right tools. Once the skin is off you have to scrape the flesh side of it to be sure and get all the meat/fat off. Then you have to cure it in salt for so long. Then using the actual tanning chemicals starts. I gave up...

I work only about 4 minutes from my house. And I leave the mares under camera and watch them on marestare on my computer at work. If I see something I rush home.
