    MiniCrown or Pacific Smart Cart?

They aren't made anymore, so hard to find. If you find a good used one grab it! They do hold their value.

That is super! Seriously, there really is a market for ultra light weight carriages...

Tell me about your hotel/motel horror stories!

Another memorable dog show trip, another memorable hotel... I think we might have been staying on the west side of Little Rock AR but I'm not sure. We weren't staying at my favorite Motel 6, that's for sure. Got our room, got checked in, went and had dinner, exed dogs, ready to settle in for the...

Tell me about your hotel/motel horror stories!

I've traveled across the country and been in some really backwater roach motels and some nice big city hotels, but my favorite story is a funny if nothing else. Friend and I went to Atlanta to pick up a couple of whippets and her keeshond who had just been bred. We borrowed a friend's truck as...

    Perscriptions for our animals

Don't forget Costco, if that's an option where you live. Eye drops for one of the horses here come from Costco, as do his bute granules. He's an elderly TB with a few issues, and buying his meds from Costco has really saved his owner some money.

    poopy pony

my boy gets poopy if his feed is changed or he doesn't eat plain good grass hay. Anything else is too rich. He doesn't get any grain, just mineral pellet.

    What is the shiny stuff??

Ugh! You are so right- I hate the big eye grease but the greasy forelocks is just nasty. I don't like how they do it on Arabs either, guess I'm showing how old I am.

    What's For DINNER Tonight?

I got on another cooking jag, but this one ended in disaster! LOL I made a lovely and delicious roast pork loin, and while I had the oven going I mixed up meatloaf. I didn't quite have my regular ingredients, so I just threw some stuff together. A little of this, a little of that. Got them...

Upright tin-can hooves despite regular trims

Totally agree with Foxhaven- less heel, not less hoof. I've had to be really specific with my farrier as to how I want my pony's feet trimmed, he's a good guy and listens. Pony wasn't moving the best, feet were too short with not enough toe and too much heel which changed his pastern angle and...

    What's For DINNER Tonight?

I'm having a cooking frenzy for some reason- and we aren't in the bitter cold weather like most folks! Made Shepherd's Pie, I have pork marinating for char siu Chinese BBQ, and chicken soaking in buttermilk for fried chicken. Living alone I hardly ever cook like this, but these all make plenty...

Does this look like a good starter harness?

Looks like a good starter harness. I personally prefer the French link half-cheek driving bits, they seem to fit small mouths better with less nutcracker action and the middle of the bit hitting the roof of the mouth.

    Merry Christmas from Esrohollow

Great photo! I prefer corgis with a tail, after spending a lot of time with a guy who had both back home. He preferred Cardigans too. Merry Christmas!

    Internet

I use Chrome or Firefox most of the time, and IE only occasionally. IE is most prone to compatibility issues and viruses.

Nicki I think you should just open yours! It's more the utilitarian side than creative.

    dog in season question

I've had some be a little picky when in season, just like some women have a harder time with cycles some ******* can have a harder time. They might get a little bloated and feel yucky.

Are there breeders not breeding for the Arabian type

I love the QH look of your guy Barefootin, and that you don't do his bridle path like an arab. He's got a nice QH type face- clean muzzle with big cheeks and that look suits him. Just me personally- I am not fond of the halfway down the neck bridle paths, I'd rather see a stock type mini turned...
