Hi all;
I'm getting ready to have my 8 year old gelding hauled for about 1000 miles. Can I get some words of wisdom about:
*how to prepare the horse?
*what type of hay should I send?
*things to look for when the hauler shows up?
*anything you would recommend to make it easier on my guy...
Thought I would start this topic as I know I have questions and thought others might too!
I will start with shipping boots. Does anyone use them while shipping or hauling? In what circumstances do you use them? And what brand/type do you recommend?
