2022 Christmas trees

I would enjoy seeing everyone's trees this year. Ours has all vintage toys around the bottom. Amazingly, our puppy has not bothered anything at all.

Perfect way to display favorite ornaments on a table top.
I am surprised our new puppy is not bothering ours. We had to use the spray bottle one time at the beginning. Now, if anything falls off onto the floor, then that is another issue!

We do 2 small table top trees instead of one big tree. When Christmas is over we don’t break it down, we just stow it as is and we leave all the ornaments on too. Our ornaments consist of cat collars, for those who are no longer with us, and every critter has its own ornament with their name on it, we try to get one that looks like them or remind us of them. We also have the cork from the wine bottle from our wedding night …and of course a few airplane ornaments too.

3 cat household, so no more live trees with antique ornaments. I have to say this is so much easier, but no balsam fir smell which is a bummer!

The animal collar idea is nice. When I had Dapper Dan's hair made into a horsehair pottery pot, he also sent me an ornament. I need to get it out of the pot and onto the tree.

What is a horsehair pottery pot? Do you have pics? I am going to attempt to make a bracelet out of Riffics hair, not sure how that will turn out ….one of my many upcoming projects

The hair is fired into the pottery. I sent about 50 of Dapper Dan's tail hairs. This was in 2018.
I got the ornament out last night. The potter made into a pendant, so today I will be reworking it as an ornament.

What is a horsehair pottery pot? Do you have pics? I am going to attempt to make a bracelet out of Riffics hair, not sure how that will turn out ….one of my many upcoming projects

If your bracelet project is successful, I'd love to see it. Working with hair is a true art.
