What are shrews?

Hugs

Your place looks delightful. I thought at first it said the outhouse was full of tiny screws....then I saw it was shrews....is that a rodent of some sort?

Very nice! I enjoyed seeing your nice place (wonderful job!)

I'll have to dig out the photos of where I lived in Co. Cavan some day. The house was stone and 300 years old (so I was told) How I miss the peat!

inside is gorgeous, it has big pine antique floorboards, and a gorgeous gothic fireplace, out of old stone, and confessional box gothic doors, ill try to find more pictures, we use it as a stop off point for the shows sometimes, and it over looks 25 miles of beautiful lakes... i just wanted to share it before it goes........

I LOVE THE SMELL OF THE BURNING TURF, AND SHREWS ARE LIKE TINK FIELD MICE WITH A LONG TRUMPET NOSE! they are very cute

: my hubby stood on one ,one day by mistake, and all the little tiny shrews came out looking for it, they where all round our feet it was amazing, we also find baby rabbits in the outhouse and robins, where they run into when they hear us coming, they get disorientated, you are all welcome to come and stay so if any of you fancy a bit of irish charm, you know where to come lol, thanks for letting me share!!!!!

It is beautiful, you guys did a great job! If only I were a little older and had some money, I would buy that place in a heart beat!

: I would love to come stay a bit and see your part of the world but doubt if I will be able to do it in this life. Know what it is like to work so hard on something and then have to part with it. Mary
