Had our first foal last night...a colt. (gee, why does that not surprise me?)

Solid bay.

He is a pretty boy though, fat and sassy. His dam is a double Blue boy mare, closely related to Limestones top mare. His sire is Riverdance's Desperado.

Of course in the middle of the night.

I will get some pictures of him for you all.

One down...10 to go.

I wish I could get the filly fairy too, so far just for my horses alone (not including my parents) I have had 7 colts and 0 fillies since I started breeding LOL!

I feel your pain, we have had 7 foals in the last 13 years - 6 colts (only 3 live though) and just 1 filly... in the sitting dog position who we couldn't get out in time
