AMHR Transfer Paper

Well i thought after 2 years I should actually transfer Wee Man to my name I was looking and on his papers where you write the transfer his previous owners name is there when it was supposed to be the buyers name .. and adress I believe .. So it says the transfer of ownership is going to the person i bought him from who of course has her name on his papers right now .. And thats on the papers.. So what should I do .. Its not like I can white them out .. Oh My ...

I would send the person a letter with a new transfer paper in it with your name on it. And ask to please sign it so you can transfer the horse into your name. Some people are very nice about it and then you will have not problem. (can not hurt to try)

Oh thats not the problem

My hors eis boarded at the lady I bought him froms farm .. its just written in pen on the AMHR paper not the transfer paper it says transfer to her name where it was supposed to be mine this si on his actual papers ..

I guess then, call AMHR and explain this to them and then ask what to do. I am sure this has had to happen to someone before.

Just print out a new transfer form and fill that out and don't worry about whats written on the papers.

Devon it sounds to me like Sandy never transferred him into her name when she bought him and so you will need to transfer him to her and then to you. Look on the front of the registration certificate and check the record of transfers section - you should see Sandy's name there if she did transfer him. If not you need to get a transfer paper from Sandy so that you can transfer him from her to you. You can print them off from the AMHR website and then just get Sandy to date and sign it.
