Takes a lot to turn my head. What an amazing mare!

WOW :new_shocked: That was so awesome to see!! Thank you for sharing that with us. That mare was so athletic and in such great shape. After all that she didn't even seem tired. My muscles were sore just watching

Holy Cow :new_shocked: :new_shocked: :new_shocked:

That was FANTASTIC!! My non-horsey husband and daughter came over to watch and were impressed--even they could recognise this was above and beyond!!

Wow, that is so breath taking, this is so what I want to do one day.

Thank you for sharing it with all of us.

OMG I got goose bumps watching that video!!!!!!! :aktion033: What a beautiful mindset that mare must have to be able to execute those moves and stay in total control and focus. Not an easy thing to do....never seen anything like it in all of my dressage years!!! Her rider totally composed, made it look sooo simple with quiet and sutle cues!! Absolutely blew me out of the water!!!!

That was INCREDIBLE- did you watch her ears??

She was totally committed to getting it all right- I would not have noticed the mistake if the commentator had not said anything- just a very, very minor hiccup.

Wonderful mare, wonderful performance- FANTASTIC training!!!

If you ever wanted to know what riding was about- that was it

That is an amazing mare!!! I watched it when it was on tape delay in the summer!!!! Well, I watched it while I was working!!!! That was the ONLY horse/rider that I had to sit down and watch completely (with my jaw dropped too!!) That first test they did was just amazing!!!!! It's really too bad he didn't have better music to ride the freestyle to. It could have been much more dramatic with better music....but yes, truly an amazing mare!!!! Sure hope they don't push her too much, that's my only concern....I believe she was only 8 years old at WEG....

OH MY!!!!!!!!!!! ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!!!

Thank you so much for posting that, I would hate to have not seen it. :aktion033: :aktion033:

Thank you so much for posting that!

I watched it twice on TV while the WEG were on, made me cry both times (and again today!), she is loving her job for sure!

She's amazing ... and this video didn't even show what I thought was the best part, when she was still passaging out of the stadium, just cause she wanted to, and every single person was standing and cheering.

WOW!!!!!! :new_shocked: :new_shocked:

That was truly amazing!!! Ive never seen a horse move like that before and she really looked like she was totally committed to the music and keeping perfect time...BREATHTAKING!!! :new_shocked: :aktion033:

(I even clapped and cried at the end...which I am so glad I am the only one home...lol)

Don't forget to watch Anky's winning freestyle as well - her horse Salinero may not be as electrifying to watch or quite as big and easy of a mover but their freestyle performance was still wonderful....

Matine the grey mare is still very young by dressage standards... only 9... so hopefully we will have many more wonderful years to enjoy her...

OH does that bring back the past! I used to love to go to shows and do my level four shows and watch the higher level dressage! That is gorgeous! What control and training and you can tell she loves what she is doing!

WOW--what a beautiful horse. Can you imagine the training that went into her. WOW-- That was fantastic. Thanks Carol for sharing it with us. Corinne
