So, here are some more pics of Tidbit. She is 314 days, long history of foaling 2 - 3 weeks early with minimal bagging and sneaking foals out in pasture when no one thinks she's ready. But not this year!
I don't have a lot of experience with evaluating readiness - do any of you think she could still go another 2 - 3 weeks??? At what point before foaling do your mares look like this?
She's been testing 85% foaling range on the Mother Nature's strips since Sunday AM. I stopped testing with the pool strips since she's been at 1000 hardness and much lighter orange than the lowest pH option 6.8 since Sunday as well.
Just wish I knew if I still have 2 weeks to go or if she looks like she's ready!
