My printer is old and finally stopped working Lexmark had it for years and years.

What printer do you have?

Which one would you recommend.

thanks

I've got a Cannon here. It has a scanner, fax, and printer all in one. Doesn't use a lot of ink either, just one black and one color. No complaints.

thanks Marty, just has been a long time so wanted to make sure I do not get something that does not last.

This one has been for at least 10 years old or more my first priter, also having problems finding the cartridge, it is so old.

I have had a couple of lexmarks...very expensive ink, but great quality printers.

My Epsom was a piec of junk from day one...never did work properly...wopuldn't buy another...ever.

I have had my HP "all-in-one" for five or six years now, and LOVE it. It runs perfectly, gives great quality, and the ink is very reasonable. I will personally stick to HP from now on.

where would you recommend to buy one?

thanks again.

I've got an HP inkjet all-in-one and a Brother monochrome laser printer. I love the laser if I don't need color. (No bleeding if the copy gets wet.) I usually buy from either www.circuitcity.com or www.tigerdirect.com (which I think may be one of the same now, but run different sales at different times. The HP is a photo printer as well and has the card readers built in so I load my6 photos from the cards thru the printer. I have had both printers for years.

Thanks will check into this.

I have a Canon Pixma- its okay, but being a poor college student I don't like having to pay $20-$30 ish dollars for a cartridge of ink with all the printing I do.

I also have a canon Pixma all-in-one and love it. I had two HP printers and both were junk in my opinion. What I learned about the Canon when I bought mine was. If you are having problems with your printer and call Canon, they ask you to try different things. If that doesn't fix the issue they tell you to please unplug your printer, carry it to somewhere away drop it and they send you a coupon to get a new one.

I believe that is for one year after purchase. You do not have to tote it back to the store. That part I really liked. I hate having to return junk back to a store.

Mine is for small office setups, it has print, copy, fax, and scan. It prints on both sides without having to refeed. It has two feeder trays. It has a copy feeder or you can place on the glass.

Thanks yes, with my lexmark paid $44.00 for cartridge

and hard to find being so old of a printer.

I have an HP 6500 (its an all in one - scanner, copier, fax, and photos)... I LOVE it -- it also has wireless so if I am on my labtop in the other room I can still print to it... I think I have had it 2 years now -- I had an HP before this one also but it got fried in a storm but I had it 3 years before that -- havent had any issues other than that.. This one does have 4 cartridges though -- black and then 3 colors but they arent too bad -- around $20 each...

I have a Cannon. Have had it for many a number of years. Prints excellent quality. I do photos on it as well and love the quality. Cartridge cost is just below $100 and I print quite a bit of stuff...cartridges will usually last me a year.

I have a KODAK. It is an all in one thing and has the SD port for printing pictures. The ink is cheap. When I was buying my computer which is an HP I looked at the price of ink and it is about $19 for both color and black ink. It is a very good printer. I have had it for about a year now and put ink in it 2x's. The kids zoom through my paper. But, the ink seems to hold out.

Thank you all for the advice looks like HP is my best bet.

Do not want to pay alot for cartridges.

I purchased a Canon Pixma MP560 in late August. I really wanted a wireless printer this time. Our HP was still working fine but at 11 years old, it's ink cartridges were so darn expensive!! I also wanted my colors broken out instead of having a combined color cartridge.

I am *very* pleased with this printer!
