Anyone doing the amateur recognition program thru AMHR?

Gary and I are still so relatively new at the whole mini horse thing that I guess I never paid attention to the amateur gelding incentive program or the amateur rewards programs. I love doing the parades, vacation bible school, fall festivals and other stuff as well as driving outside the ring. It is really cool to find out that there is a way to be recognized for all those things as well as showing. Do any of you participate and what do you do with your horses besides show?

Hi I do not participate in the compainion program my daughter has done some in the youth program which is about the same thing.

I think it is a great program and a great way to recognize those that do such wonderful day to day things with their minis. Sometimes we get so caught up in the show world we forget that only a very small percentage of mini owners actually even show in the breed ring.
