Anyone Using TURBO TAX & Having Problems

HELP !!!

For nearly two weeks, I've been trying to finish my taxes, utilizing Turbo Tax. In past years, it's been a piece of cake! THIS YEAR......whew!

Seems we have one THICK FIREWALL that won't allow the State info to be downloaded. Also, in the meantime, I cannot electronically file the FEDERAL info WITHOUT THE STATE. Their customer service is terrific.....but clearly insufficient for my problem.

JUST WONDERING......

1. ANYONE HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM WITH TURBO TAX

2. ANYONE USE THE H&R BLOCK tax filing software? If so, how do you like it?

I used turbo tax on the web and filed electronically and had my return back in 10 days. I didn't have a problem.

I didn't have any issues BUT...this year I didn't get to include what I paid for rent, which left out a big part of my return. There's paperwork at the local library that I can fill out and send in, for one of my friends she's getting back about $1000 for just rent, that's a lot to be left off of tax returns!!!!!

I'm going to file mine ASAP, I really feel cheated this year!

I usually use Turbo Tax, but a few years ago, I used H&R Block on recommendation from a friend. I didn't like it at all. I never felt like I was getting all the deductions due to us. Used Turbo last year again & plan to stick with it. Haven't tried to file yet this year. Hope there are no probs!

By the way, how is rent deductable? New one on me! Are you a student?
