Arrrr Frusterated with doctors

I went to my required 3 week check up last week. Well I needed a prescription and that was supposed to be called in thursday. Well I go to pick up the meds yesterday and they werent even called in. Ok well I called the clinic, my doctor was out so they paged her. She oked the call in and they re called it in. This time they got it, however the other doc called in the wrong dose.

THey are lik so you dont want it? Well gesh what is 25mg gonna do for me when I am supposed to be on 75?

So here I am still with out them, and I have missed a few doses, and have a killer head ach, which happens when I miss a dose. It will be at the earliest tommorow that I can get them, but probably not until Tuesday.

And what do we pay them so much for?

could you have taken the 25 mg and taken 3 of them til they can get you sorted out?

Just an idea when this has happened to me in the past (similar situation).

Sorry about the headache, that sucks. Hopefully they'll get their acts together, soon.

Some doctors can be sloppy with things and l wouldn't keep using one that was. My doctors name is B. Risky and l trust him though l didn't because of his name in the beginning but after 12 years he's a ok..

There are only 2 in that place I can use. THe first one was the one I used to use until he did something that turned me off of him. So I switched to this women. I really do like her, just bad at calling things in. She didnt call the stuff in Saturday a different one did, and he didnt call the right amount.

I will mention this next time I go back in, as in that I will tell her, that im not really happy about this. This a med I should not be going on and off all the time like that. Since I have to have her call it in every month, it would be nice if it would actually happen.

I've had a problem with the pharmacy where I order my transplant meds from. I asked that the drugs be sent overnight since I was ordering late and the woman told me since her manager wasn't in that day that she would do it. She never did and they showed up two and a half days later. So, I was frantically calling my transplant doctors as these are meds you can't go without unless you want to lose your transplanted organs. I ended up having to do it twice. I so wish I had got the name of the woman who said she'd send them overnigt. She's messing with some very important meds. I've also had docs before who were not good about calling things in. For you though until you can get things straight you could use 3 of the 25 mg like someone else suggested and then you'd be safe until you could get everything fixed.

Just stop and think half of all doctors were in the lower half of their class !!!!! How did your doctor place in his class ??

It wont kill me to miss them, just makes me sick until I get them back in my system.

That said what they gave me is still different then what I am on. I am on extended relase so I only take them once a day as they are easier to take with my job rotateing then the normal version. What they gave me was not extended release or the correct dosage.

They gave me plain effexor and I am on Effexor XR
