Some of you know my young friend John Eckbold. He shows both pmc and youth and even open at the national and local level. Last year he was the amhr ambasador.. John has had about 50 surgeries in his short 16 years.... he is headed for another one that will be extensive and require lots of rest. Please put John on your prayer list and send him some words of encouragement. He would love receiving cards from all the forum members. his address is

Definately in my thoughts.

But, think maybe his address should come off, and only members pm to get it?

Just a thought.

Best of luck John

I got to meet John at the WCMHR show and he is a delightful young man! I certainly wish him all the best and will keep him in my prayers for a speedy recovery!

I met John and his parents down at Nationals last year and they are all exceptionally nice people! John will be in my thoughts and I wish him the best of luck in his upcoming surgery! For all of you at Nationals last year I'm sure you noticed what a great job he did as our Jr. Ambasador, if I didn't see him in the ring showing he was usually in there handing out ribbons or walking around talking to people. I'm sure everything will go well and I look forward to hopefully seeing him down at Nationals again!

John is a rmarkable young man & we wish him well in the upcoming surgery. Pray all will be well & we see him back at Nationals again this year. Thanks for sharing

Will definitely hold him up in prayers. When is his surgery to be?

Sounds like an outstanding and perservering young man! John is definately in my prayers!

Haven't met him...but my prayers and thoughts will be with him and his family, during this time.

Here is Johns e mail... [email protected] John is a very strong willed individual.... by all accounts he shouldnt even still be with us but thank God we have been allowed to have him with us because he is such an inspiration to me to get up and get out and work my horses even when I hurt or cant see..... he doesnt give up .......EVER! He even is on aa special olympics hockey team who went to Sweden last fall... His mom Connie Home schools him now so that he can participate in all these things. Connie and HArold deserve our accolades as well. No more devoted parents are on the face of this earth. I love them dearly! It was their horse Takashimaya that I drove two years ago at nationals to a PMC Championship. This family deserves our continued prayers.
