Bad News Sister has cancer

Ok bawling here while I type.

My 34 yr old sister just found out she has breast cancer. She had found a lump in her right breast and her left one was really hurting. She had mamogram, they saw a cluster of something in her right breast, so did biopsy yesterday and actually pulled out this cluster. So she gets the call today that she has cancer in her right breast. She is to see a surgeon Monday and see what they have to do..

She is really feeling down in the dumps-she is going thru a divorce now too and then this happens.

If you could keep her in your prayers and thoughts I would so appreciate it...

I'm so sorry Missy. That must be very frightening for her (and hard for you too) The good news is breast cancer is survivable and hopefully they caught your sister's early enough to make quick work of it. I'll be thinking of you both hoping for a good outcome.

So sorry. I'll be keeping all of you in my thoughts. I lost my father to cancer so I've been there. So scary that it seems more and more young people are getting cancer.

Thanks everyone for your kind words....

It has been a long day, we all have cried buckets full.

I will be on pins and needles til Monday when she hears from the surgeon what they will do and how aggressive they have to be.

We can only pray that it goes well...

I'll keep you all posted on what we find out...
