Well as many of you know, we got hit by a pretty nasty storm in July that took out almost all of our buildings and left us with some pretty seriously injured horses. Luckily all horses are doing much better now and only one still has special care. We are in progress of getting barns put back up and have a good start.

My stallion barn is mostly finished, just missing an overhead door and a few latches. Will also eventually have a run out for each stallion stall instead of the roundpen.

My new shelter for my broodmares is mostly done, just needs a few spots filled in around it.

And my new big barn is well under way, it will have quite a few larger stalls for foaling, eventually will have a washrack, and will have a tack room and a storage area.

And just for some fun here is my old barn right before it got torn down.

It's crazy looking at that picture of your old barn. I truly hope next year brings much calmer weather. We had more than one storm here with stronger winds than the hurricane that hit the east coast, no exaggeration. Tore up about 20 full grown trees around the farm and took all of the siding off our grain barn. Still, nothing like the storm that hit your place. I think you've had enough crazy weather to last you a while!

Wow they all look great!! The old shed really got knocked around
