Anyone who doesn't know this ..this venue is right beside the stables where Brigadier lived, and will be held as there are so many attending. I'd love to go, but it is a long haul, and I will keep whipping the law makers from here )

I think that it is SO nice that they are having a Memorial for him. It is wonderful to see that they truly believe that their 4 legged officers are indeed part of the Department too! Although it breaks your heart to hear about his death...

The Mounted Police here in St Paul are Great! And it is so neat to see them riding amidst traffic and hilarious to see a Mounted Police Officer pull over a car, lean down in the window and give the driver a ticket! We all watch from the Skyway windows! :bgrin

It is also nice during the day to look outside this jungle of concrete and steel and see a horse calmly making his way up the street. It can really bring a smile to your face! (I usually end up taking the elevators down, running full blast down the escalator and zooming out the door, so I can pet them before they are blocks away! LOL!!!)
