Ok, to make a long story short, I've been trying to figure out a way to put my foaling mares on the internet. The wireless camera I bought isn't going to work, so it was suggested I go with a wireless reciever to put the existing camera online.

Here's the setup. The wired camera comes into my bedroom and plugs into the back (antenna connection)of a tv that I use for a monitor. My computer is in another room in the house two walls away. Not far. So I got a wireless reciever and transmitter. The problem is, I can't seem to make them work! I plug the wireless transmitter into the front of the tv with the RCA cable. The receiver is connected to a video capture device on my computer. The hardware and software is installed for that. I can't get a picture! Does anybody know what to do?? I've even tried plugging the receiver into a tv in another room trying to get a picture from my tv 'monitor' with no luck. What do I need to do??

hmmmm.....sorry Becky....I don't know.

You've probably tried a million things... but here are a couple things I would try:

1)move the TV and computer into the same room to see if it works that way

2)check to see if other wireless things work--- do you have a cordless phone?

Then if that doesn't work, I would return the item. The first camera we got was defective so maybe your transmitter/receiver isn't working...

You've probably tried all those things... I just wanted to respond in case something I said triggered the answer in your already brilliant mind...

and I didn't want you to think you were all alone in this and nobody cared! :)
