Can't believe

Well it's not a huge thing but I have already had my boys a year! I had my first mini and my welsh pony already and after my last riding horse was put down I was always upset and wasn't sure if I was going to sell my other two as I outgrew my welsh YEARS ago and my other mini Josh is more of an older styled mini so I wasn't going to show him. But last March I just happened to see and ad online for a cute little red-dun mini gelding. Triple reg, been reserved champ at his local mini shows and he drove! He wasn't even 3 yet! I knew i had to have him. I started emailing on him behind moms back

and finally I told her about him and she also got in contact with the owner. One thing led to another and I drove down to meet him. It was love at first sight even if he was in his winter fuzzys still. I put a down payment on him and left him there for another week. My mom had been eyeing the colt she also had for sale. He was about 25" at the time and homozygous

I kept telling her she had to get him! She kept saying no then yes then no then yes. Till the day we went to pick up Sox, my dad told her to do something for herself and buy him too, so she did! So over the past year I have had a blast with the new boys. I did pretty well for my first time showing over the summer with Sox. Even brought home a blue at our first show

I was overjoyed! Still am! I am also going to show Knight this year. So excited! Here are the boys. (Pics from last summer) Sorry for such a long story, just really happy and not much else to do as I had my appendix out at 1am this morning so I am home laying in bed for the next week and can't do much with my guys

You will have to rest up and get better quick... if you aren't out there they will miss you.

I've had my first gelding for eight years now... time really flies with these guys in your life. They are a blessing.

April 1st was the 2nd anniversary of our own start down this fabulous journey with our girls. I completely understand what you're saying!!! I told someone again, just today, that this has been the best decision I think I've ever made after having my two kids
