What a national war debt but it was worth it to have him come. The dwarves mouths were horrible of course. He ended up having to work on 15 of our horses, only the dwarves and two others had some major work done. One 26 year old which has lost molars and packing food in her mouth and one of our mares had split a molar and it was infected and had to be pulled. Everyone else just need floated.
He was so good with the dwarves even though they were all pain in the butts. All three were fighters. Zoeys mouth is the worse. And then Ice Cube needed a lot of work done too and she had such a small mouth it was hard to do the work. Gimley had the best teeth of all, but we have to do some special work at Carls reccomendation to a hoof to bring her front shoulder up. We will have to build up her hoof on the side she walks on to bring her level and put an L shaped piece of stainless steel on. This is not for correction on making her walk right, it is just to bring her level to help her not do any more damage to her shoulder. Zoey is going to need a lot of work done in the spring to get caps out and we have to watch because she will possibly have problems with the roots coming up through her skin and possibly break through when her permanents come in. She is already having breathing problems because of her teeth.
Oh bad news is Carl is cutting back, only traveling 10 days now each month and is hoping to keep cutting back. His new adventure to keep him around home more is his barbecue sauce and catering. But he says he will still be in the dentistry business for several more years though. Thank Goodness, just don't know what we will do with out him. And darn it, they were suppose to move to Indiana but his wife found a house in Texas that she liked instead. So they are staying in Texas. This was his 3rd or 4th time he has come to see us. Just hard to get him here with him being in such a demand.
Oh well, just had to thank him publicly for making it and sing his praises of course. He does so well with the minis.
