She had a beautiful neck...no bottom limb on a tree would be safe!I would think so. Every one has their favorite color horses. I think theres a color for every horse person out there. If your asking about desirable in the show ring that could/would be another topic. I dont show but would have to think some judges prefer certain colors over others and although maybe they are not supposed to be judging the "color" in certain classes ...they are only human and it very well play a part in their final "look".2 driving horses same # mistakes same all the way across their sheet....who gets the blue....1 judge just cant decide but she has to pick one... well she never liked appys and # xxx is an appy.....sorry # xxx, you get the red!!
P.S. Does the little giraffe mini also have a good neck?? Sorry, stupid joke!!
Were the markings white? Lacing is sometimes reffered to as "giraffe markings" because the pattern is similar to a giraffe's. It is usually just found on the horse's back. I don't think horses with lacing can be registered as pinto, but I could be wrong about that...
This is a HORRID photo of our girl, Jessie...........and it's also several years old. Her LACING has developed much farther down her back and on either side.
But, is this sort of what you are describing?
That is a bit closer. But this gal's fur could pass for a giraffe's. Is your photo one with some "lacing"Is it something like this?
