What determines the Congress Classlist? Some years I see some classes offered and then the following year it is not. For example the Classic Formal Pleasure to Viceroy and Classic Pleasure to Wooden Cart. What determines is these classes will be offered this coming year or not?

Is this something to contact the home office and request that the classes be offered? Or will it be by chance that I hope it will be offered?

I've been told that some classes have been taken out of the show list because of no interest in the classes. The Formal Pleasure to Viceroy class was taken out quite a few years ago after the class had been offered for a number of years with one or no entries. Fancy Turnout was offered for many years at Congress and after years of no interest, it was taken out of the show bill. Then, three years ago, it was put back into Congress when some interest was shown again. But, I'm afraid that in the three years it's been offered since there has only been 2 different entries in the three years, the class might not last much longer. And according to the rules of the class, both entries that have been in the class over the last three years, are now to old to enter the class. A lot of people that had shown interest in the class to add it back into the Congress class list, haven't made any entries into the class. This happens with a lot of the classes that have been once offered at Congress and have now been taken out.

Jason.

I agree, but you and Brenda did a beautiful job on your Fancy Turn out. Why don't we have adult fancy turnout classe? I would really get into that!

Thank you for the compliment on our fancy turnout. As for an adult fancy turnout class, it would be really hard to fit two adults on the fancy turnout rig. It has been hard enough to fit Taylor, Julie Zander at Congress or Samantha Sansavere at AMHR Nationals.

Yes I know that, but you can do just one, the driver. I don't know why we are stuck on two in the seat? Great for youth, not for adults. Other breeds do it with just one adult.
