My dad is leagally separated and the divorce will be final soon. They have been separated for yrs and just finalizing the dirvorse agreement. I want him to get out and start dating. I talked him into the dating site eharmony. I did the eharmony profile but since he was separated they rejected him!!! And they did it after we did the entire profile!! Sooo do you know of any decent dating sites for an elderly guy who just wants a nice lady friend. He is a great guy and I just want him to have a companion for his elderly yrs. Any help????

I highly recommend Parents without Partners

(not a dating site but alot of people end up dating and some get married)

I attended the one in Somers Point years ago and it was fantastic

with fantastic people all kinds of scheduled events to do together with

and without your kids and if nothing else just a bunch of friends

Just a warning it does have alot of people who are very sad

but also alot of people who are not

Years ago, after my divorce was final and I had custody of my son, the ladies at my office were teasing me about not dating. Well, I don't drink or smoke and I was busy working and doing 6 year old homework. Where was I going to meet someone?? So, just to shut them up, I promised to go on line and respond to one ad. I spend a weekend reading (I think it was on AOL.COM) and I finally found one ad that wasn't for some weirdo guy. Flash forward to today and we just celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary! So, it can be done. That sure shut them up!!!!
