Tuesday, went to a toy fair in London Ontario. Great bargains, 4 ladies & my 2 year old Grand daughter (Olivia), she only had about 30 minute sleep all day she was up since 8:00 a.m. / One Hr. away from home, friends muffler came down, pulled of the road and of course it dug into the gravel. Could not go forward, or more damage would have been done.
1 girl had CAA called them, hour later tow truck arrived.
What a day, but could have been worse. We where told by the tow truck driver that just ahead of us someone hit a deer. We could see flashing lights ahead of us. He was not allowed to tie up the muffler, you know how rules are, and she only had coverage for 10 KM !!! Could not get a hold of anyone at this time to pick us up.
So BACK 10 km to Tim Horton's / finally little Olivia fell a sleep / texted friends & family, finally arranged for someone to come. My daughter had a cooler in her bag, so all 4 of us took a swallow. Laughed and told stories, great way to get to know each other.
90 min. later helped arrived.
Muffler tied up and back on the road again, 2:00 a.m. arrived home. Had at least 3 French vanilla's, had trouble sleeping !!!! Now it is a fun memory.
