Hi - is it Sue?

Info on Rabbit Runs Illusion de Azul as follows:-

Amha A92058 d.o.b. 07/25/1997 30"

sire. Grosshill eks Illusion 29"

dam. Rabbit Runs Whisper de Falabella

Between 2000 and 2006 he has 13 foals registered with the AMHA.

Breeder listed as Lynn Cleare Coldman.

Owner listed as Mrs Brenda Budge Bourningwood Stud.

I would guess from reading the list of his foals that he was/still is in the UK or Europe?

Have sent you and e-mail via your website.

Anna

Thankyou so much !!!

I own two mares , they are full sisters out of BIRCHWOOD UK LAVENDER BLUE

He seems to be registered as grey but I think its more likely that hes silver as both of my mare carry it , one is silver black and ones silver bay, heres pics of the silver black..Micatos Platinum

Ive asked about this stallion several times and all I could find out is that he was sold to Dorset (UK) so this info is great

If he was sold to Dorset, I might know who that is, am going to try to find out more about him - might manage to get a picture for you.

Dianne I would love to know how you get all the pedigree and foal info printed out here on a post??? Surely you dont actually type it all up???

Anna

I know him well and personally, what do you want to know?

He is Grey.

He is masking Silver but a lot of his foals turn grey, you are lucky to have got one of the ones that did not!

he is grandsire to two of my girls and I always try to find out as much about all my minis backgrounds as I can especially the ones I intend to breed from , his pedigree and height was the main thing but really just wanted to see what his quality and type is like (has he bred any winners/champions and if he had any patterns , just general stuff really

We did not know that, I shall pass the information on to Brenda. Does this mean that, if she gets him registered, his offspring can also be registered??

I noticed he had Falabella in his pedigree when I read who his G/sire was, but can I ask how much Falabella 'blood' does a horse have to carry to still be classed as a blend? As Jane asks, would his offspring not be too 'diluted'?

Anna

Sue, I know that to be registered in our UK Falabella part bred registry they have to be a minimum of 25% Falabella (as you say), but I'm not sure what constitutes a Falabella 'blend' and just wondered whether RR Illusion de Azul's offspring would be 'too far away' from genuine Falabella blood to be classified 'blend'?

Just interested!

Anna
