I attended this auction today from the privacy of my own home. Had air conditioning, food, drinks. It was the best auction I've ever been to!!!!

: Heather and Shannon with Mare Stare did a great job with the video and we had a chat set up too. It was alot of fun!!!! This is the best way to go to an auction. Stay tuned to Mare Stare for other auctions in the future.

AND....I bought a filly!! :aktion033: I bought RHA Elegant Locomotion a 5 month old weanling filly out of Kickapoo Locomotion. I have wanted a Nikki filly forever and am so excited. She's a 25.75" silver dapple. RHA will be delivering her here tomorrow. Can't wait to meet her!!! Will post pictures once she gets here. : I just got home a few minutes ago. We were all at a "family gathering" at my parents home today. My mom, my sister and I were going to watch it together over there. Only, we couldn't get it to work on her computer. I'm so heartbroken.

Princess did sell for $1700.00. I was bidding on her too, but it just went too high for me. Someone said that a phone bidder from FL bought her. I would have loved to have had her!!

I was just so upset and so dissappointed in "myself" that I couldn't figure how to get mom's computer to work today. I don't know what I was doing wrong, as I was able to get to it just fine here at home last night. I thought surely it would be just as easy at mom's. Anyways, I guess there's no use crying over spilt milk.

So nothing else to do now, I guess, but get over it.

: The people putting on the auction did a great job. I actually felt a bit bad for them because I think they did their part, but the some of the sellers sure made their job difficult. I agree some of the horses were going too low, but not all those No Sales were necessary. Some of those horses should have been sold to the highest bidder. Oh well.

I did buy a beautiful mare though! Lot # 53. Seahorse Gold Melody Prize!! :aktion033: :aktion033: :aktion033: I'd been watching her for a few months and can't believe I got her.

I also wanted Lot #47 and was the high bidder, but they wanted $3k and that was more than I thought I should pay for her.

It was a lot of fun! My friend Dixi got a Fire N Ice daughter that she's THRILLED with!

I agree, some of those N/S were for decent amounts of money. Some needed to be no saled as their bids were so low, but others....what were they thinking???
