Electronic "wish list"

I have several things on my electronics wish list that I have either been wanting for a few years or they are fairly new and am really wanting...a Wii (nope, almost got one last year for my Bday, but being right after Christmas, there were none to be found...lol), Flip camcorder, eReader, iPod (am I the only one who doesn't have one of these yet?? lmao) and a 46" LCD HDTV (we have a 32" that was in our bedroon, but is now in the living room...wayyy too small for the LR...LOL)

I want car ramps, a nice tool set and new speakers for my car............oh and a positive test.

I don't have any of that fancy stuff Linda. But I would love a Dragon so I can talk and my poor typing finger can take a break! Yup, all these years later I still type with one finger! VERY fast, but still.........

Oh and a CD player so we can have music in the car or truck!

Lordy. Over the last 5+ years I have gotten so behind on the latest gadgets; I never thought that would happen. I really want an iTouch and I'd love a Kindle. I really resisted that since I really love the feel and smell of books, but I've heard that once you have it you never go back. I have a sneaking suspicion that my mom got me a Kindle for Christmas

I got my first iPod a few months ago

Now I'll have something to listen to on the plane when I go to Mexico in January

Most of the big-ticket items on my Lotto List this year involve harness leather and stainless steel buckles

but I'm in dire need of a new desktop computer. My poor laptop is finally dying and my eyes and shoulders can't take using it any more! I want a nice, quiet, ergonomic desktop model with a TON of hard-drive space so I can have all my pictures in one place and go back to using my external drives as backups instead of necessary parts of my computer.

I'll admit that thanks to my dad's hand-me-downs I already have use of a Kindle and Wii.

I do enjoy the Kindle (especially for trips!) but still prefer old-fashioned books for things I'm going to read over and over. Dad uses it for all reading now but prefers to use the Kindle app on his iPad. The Wii is awesome, totally the best toy ever. The whole family loves it! I never did use my old 60 gig iPod Video much but since I have a fancy smart phone now I use it hardly at all. Not that I actually have music loaded onto the phone or anything but I'm resistant to the idea of carrying two bricks around!

For that reason I'm not looking for an iPod Touch although they really are incredibly nice models now. My fancy camera will suffice for video for me until I have kids.

The other electronic thing I'd like to have in my win-the-lotto world is a Bose sound system for my room. I've got one of those large old-fashioned desktop boom box kind of systems which eats any CD I try to put in it and I'd love to free up the space by putting in a smaller model.

What's on my actual Christmas list though? A rolling stool for clipping the horses, a new 10" rasp, a renewal of my AAA membership and maybe a massage gift certificate! See? I'm not so greedy!

I want a sirrius portable radio (its about the size of an ipod)...and I want the docking system that goes with it. I have an ipod but I don't have time/desire to put music on it...with the sirrius you can just press a button and it will record the song that is playing from the beginning, so it basically has it's own internal mp3. You can connect the portable to any radio with an auxillary jack (car/boat radio) and then I can listen to the sirrius through those speakers. I do have an ebook but wouldn't mind getting a nicer one too!

I REALLY want a Macbook Pro and a Canon Rebel. Dear Santa, I've been such a good girl this year!

I might need a new phone as well. Yesterday I accidentally left my phone on campus and it has yet to turn up at any of the lost and founds. It's a Droid so I have a feeling I'm never going to see it again

My boyfriend just bought me (well, more like us) a blue ray surround sound system which I had been secretly wanting for a while. It is AWESOME! He has a 46" LCD so the blue ray system hooked up to that is just amazing. We watched Lord of the Rings and Inception yesterday and it felt like I was watching them in the theater again. I'm kind of a movie nerd

Would LOVE a new Camera, something with about a 14xzoom and 15-16mp would be great as I love Photography....I have been eying the "Kindle" as I love to read.

 

The Apple iPad wouldn't be so bad either!

I to do not have a Ipod but... well I do now..Raven just had a birthday and her dad bought her a new Nano..so I get her old Ipod which was a hand me down from her sister. Kasey got it as a JR in High School (she is now a SR in college ) LOL but hey I got one at least and we can say we got our use out of that sucker

If we are just wishing I would want a new camera- a Ipad (have no need for it just want it) and one of those electronic book thingys

Seems like a lot of people have the Kindle. I saw it and a few others in the stores. we also happened to be at Barnes and Noble last weekend and saw their version "Nook". I am such a "non-tech" person...and really have no idea what I should look for in things like this...lol

My wish list really is just that...I mean I think eventually I will get most if not all of those things, but not right away...LOL!

Sonya...now that sounds very kewl! I had not heard they have a portable version. Hmmm....thinking I should add that, too! lol
